PROJECT DA10 IS NOW THE NEW BAVARIA E40
“I baptize you BAVARIA E40 and wish all powerboats with this name at their hulls always a safe journey”, with this statement godmother Nele Henkel gave the new semi displacement motor yacht by BAVARIA YACHTS her name at the boot 2016 Düsseldorf boat show. Before the BAVARIA E40 was known as PROJECT DA10. The E in the name stands for Economic, Ecologic, Exploring, Efficent and Emotional. The first prototype will be ready in spring 2016.
A classic contemporary design, a clever space concept and efficiency were the central themes of the first development steps. Result: There will be a SEDAN and a FLY version of the BAVARIA E40, alternatively in a 2- or in a 3-cabin version. The central place of the life on board of the BAVARIA E40 is the spacious salon. Both from the central helm stand, from the big drawing room table and from the completely furnished galley with cooker, stove and a big fridge you can enjoy the perfect 360-degree view of the sea and of the nature.
Below the saloon are the engine and the technology of the BAVARIA E40. With this revolutionary space concept it is possible to create more space for all cabins, but particularly for the cabins in the aft ship.
A proper suite is planned for the owner in the fore ship. A thought-out full light concept with windows and big hatches in the deck creates a bright ambience in the owner´s cabin. Beside a king-size bed and storage spots in the wardrobes and storages, the future owner will also have an own bathroom with a shower.
As a semi displacement motor yacht the BAVARIA E40 of BAVARIA is designed not for speeding, but on economical cruising, safety, comfort and a travelling in harmony with nature. Engines of VOLVO PENTA between 75 HP and 300 HP plus a Hybrid propulsion give the necessary driving power. The body form, engine, gearing, and propellers of the BAVARIA E40 have already been thoroughly tested, optimized, and tuned by computer simulations in large series of experiments to ensure a fuel consumption that is as low as possible to ensure the protection of the natural resources.
