Quality
Mast base, cleats, blocks, winches, stanchions, cockpit windows, hatches – the list of components that belong to the deck and in the cockpit of a VISION 42 is long. A VISION 42 has over 40 items that the BAVARIA product managers factor in. An efficient deck layout is the result of the many years of experience of the product managers, designers and boat builders at BAVARIA. Each piece of equipment has its proper place on the deck – it is not fitted just anywhere, but to the millimetre exactly there where it is most effective for handling on deck. In the construction of the deck, aluminium sheets are later laminated in crucial areas of the sandwich construction, giving BAVARIA yachts above-average stability. Computer-controlled milling and drilling ensure that positioning is precisely as pre-defined by the product team, again to the nearest millimetre. Tension directions and the weights of halyards and sheets are carefully calculated in advance so that each fitting and each winch is correctly dimensioned when mounted on the deck.
